The concept and direction for Matt and Annie’s fall wedding honors the courage and commitment it requires to say “Yes.” By weaving several threads of meaning together to tell their love story (i.e. the family’s Stewart plaid, the symbolic Maple leaf, the punny humor throughout), we aimed to create a welcoming, cozy vibe.

For the wedding day, it was important that guests felt free to relax and also keep their distance with covid protocols in place. Striking this delicate balance was an interesting design challenge that leaned into the couple’s mad copywriting skills to achieve it. The result: a purely magical day.
